2. Scope
This privacy notice applies to the website netvalue.ch and the brand pages of our business units and subsidiaries hosted under it (GOLDSTEIN.DIGITAL, GOLDSTEIN.SHOP, GOLDSTEIN.TECHNOLOGY, GOLDSTEIN.HEALTH, GOLDSTEIN.CONSULTING, GOLDSTEIN.SWISS, KOHA.GMBH, LibraLy.CH). It explains which personal data we collect, for what purpose we process it, and to whom we disclose it. The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) applies, as does, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
3. Data We Collect
Server log files: When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically collects technically necessary access data: truncated IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser type and version, operating system, and the referrer URL. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a functional and secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR / Art. 31(1) FADP).
No cookies: This website itself does not set any cookies. There are no A/B tests, no advertising trackers, and no cross-device recognition.
Contact: If you contact us via the email address or phone number provided, we process the information you share solely to handle and respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is the pre-contractual or contractual relationship initiated by your enquiry, or your consent.
4. Hosting
This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., Jonavos g. 60C, Kaunas, Lithuania. Hostinger processes the server log files described above on our behalf; a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
5. Web Analytics with Umami
To measure reach, we use Umami, an open-source, privacy-friendly analytics tool. We run Umami ourselves on our own server at Hostinger (analytics.netvalue.ch). The instance is operated by netvalue GmbH — that is, by us; no processing by third parties takes place, and the collected data never leaves our infrastructure.
Umami sets no cookies and uses no cross-device identifiers. We collect only: the page visited, the referring page (referrer), browser language, screen resolution, browser, operating system and device type, and an approximate origin (country, region and city) derived from the IP address. Your IP address is not stored; it is processed only briefly to determine this approximate origin and to form an anonymous, daily-rotating count. We are therefore unable to draw conclusions about individual people or to recognise you beyond a single day.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in privacy-friendly reach measurement (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR / Art. 31(1) FADP). As no cookies are set and no information is stored on or read from your device, no consent is required. Umami also respects your browser's Do Not Track setting.
6. External Services
Fonts (Inter) are served exclusively from our own server — no connection is made to Google Fonts or any other external font service. Beyond this, we embed no further external scripts, maps or advertising services.
7. Your Rights
Under the FADP and GDPR you have the following rights: access to your stored data, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure of your data, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to processing. To exercise your rights, please contact the controller named above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or with a competent EU supervisory authority.
8. Data Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, in particular end-to-end HTTPS encryption of this website and access restrictions on our hosting.
9. Changes
We may amend this privacy notice at any time. The version in force is the one published as of the date stated above.
